Drug addiction help

Drug addiction is a disease. It is true that, this is a chronic, often a brain disease that causes compulsive drug use and relapse despite adverse consequences for the people who is drug addict and their love one’s .

Most individuals could not understand why people become addicted to drugs or how drugs can change the thinking to foster compulsive drug addiction. They consider drug addiction  as a social problem  and characterize those who use drugs as morally weak. A widespread belief is that drug users should be able to just stop using drugs if they are willing to change their lifestyle. What individual most often underestimate is the complex of addiction. It is a disease that affects the brain and because of drug abuse ,and just stopping drug is not always a will. Thanks to scientific advances, now we know exactly the mode of action of drugs in the brain, and we also know that addiction may be  treated successfully  to help people and to stop  drug addiction and safe their productive and happy life.

Drug addiction is a complex  brain disease because drugs cause changes in brain structure and activity. While according to the majority of people  ,the initial decision to use drugs is voluntary, over time, changes in the brain, causing repeated drug addiction may affect a person's self-control and the ability to make rational decisions, and at the mean time , send a strong incentive to continue to use drugs. That is because of these changes in the brain, it is so difficult for a person who is drug addict and want to stop the abuse. But fortunately, there are various types of treatments , it can help addicts to fight addiction and its  strong side effects and regain their control.

Drugs are chemicals that can operate a communication system of the brain and disrupt the normal functioning of nerve cells to send, receive and process information in the brain. There are minimum 2 ways by which drugs are able to do , imitating the  natural chemical messengers in the brain, and it can over stimulate the reward circuit . Some drugs, like hashish and heroin, has a similar structure for chemical messengers, it is neurotransmitters, they are produced in the brain naturally. Due to this similarity, these drugs able to fool the brain receptors and activate nerve cells to transmit messages abnormally. Other substances like cocaine or methamphetamine, can cause nerve cells to discharge abnormal large amount of neurotransmitter or stop the normal recycling of these chemicals in brain , needed to turn off the signal between neurons. This break up gives a much more amplified message that finally disrupt the normal  pattern of communication .

Almost all drugs, target the brain reward system directly or indirectly by overflowing of circuit with dopamine. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter present in the different regions of the brain to operate movement, emotion, motivation and pleasure feelings. In Over stimulation of the system, it is usually corresponds to the natural behavior related to survival such as eating, spending time with family or loved ones, it produces euphoric effects in response to drug abuse. This type of reaction sets in motion ,these things   teaches individuals to repeat the behavior of drug addiction.
